Engraving vychází ze světa historických rytin, botanických atlasů a knižních ilustrací. Místo plných výplní pracuje s hustým šrafováním a překřižujícími se liniemi, které vytvářejí bohatou škálu tónů a jedinečné textury.
Výsledek působí jako vytištěná grafika z 18. nebo 19. století - sofistikovaně, nadčasově a s příběhem. Styl se skvěle hodí pro portréty, zvířata, rostliny i architektonické motivy.
- Engraving draws from the world of historical prints, botanical atlases and book illustrations. Instead of solid fills it works with dense hatching and cross-hatching, creating rich tonal ranges and unique textures. The result reads like a printed graphic from the 18th or 19th century.
